Chocolates anyone????

Chocolates are one of the best things in life. Who can resist a bite or two of it?

The etymology of chocolate comes from Aztecs of Mexico, and originates from the Nahuatl word xocolatl, which is a combination of the words, xocolli, meaning "bitter", and atl, meaning "water"

Many of us have this notion that chocolates are bad for our health. Some studies show that it increases the risk of obesity, causes acne, and even toxic to our body.

The fact is any food, can cause these things if we consume it too much.

So, looking at the bright and delicious side of chocolate, we are going to seek for the healthy benefits of this heavenly food.

Chocolates came from plants, so it is abundant in the health benefits of dark vegetables. These benefits are from flavanoids that serve as antioxidant. As we know, antioxidants protect our body against free radicals. So if you consume a guided amount of chocolate, you will not just enjoy it, but you will also get the benefit of having a healthy skin.

Chocolates are also good for the heart. A small bar of dark chocolate everyday is helpful in keeping your heart and cardiovascular system running well. Dark chocolates lower the blood pressure and it also lowers cholesterol.

How about a bite of chocolate when feeling blue? It sure does sound appealing, doesn't it? Chocolates serve as aphrodisiac. It does not only taste good but it even drives your blues away. It stimulates endorphin and gives a feeling of pleasure. Furthermore, it has also serotonin that serves as an anti-depressant.

So what are you waiting for? Grab a bite of chocolate and drive those blues away!
